Khairul Idham Pawi (Honda Team Asia) debuted in Moto3™ World Championship after getting a wildcard seat for Aragon GP.
Pawi starting grid in 34th place and finished the race in 25th position. Compete with the best riders of the world has been a great experience for the Malaysian rider.
Pawi, after race, said: “The race was so difficult. In the first lap I tried to follow the front group but it was really tough. I had battle with Ana Carrasco and then the group was too far. The experience in World Championship is good for me because next race is FIM CEV Navarra and I will arrive more ready. I would like to thanks Honda and Boon Siew Honda for this chance.”
Next weekend Khairul Idham Pawi will participate in round 6 FIM CEV Repsol Moto3™ Junior World Championship in Navarra (Spain).
After 7 races and 3 podiums (2nd at Le Mans and Barcelona race 1, 3rd at Barcelona race 2) in FIM CEV Repsol Moto3™ Junior World Championship 2015, remaining 5 races and Pawi is fighting for the Championship standings, actually 4th.
