The new Wave Dash FI has 2% more power, better fuel consumption and Euro3 compliant
Boon Siew Honda has launched their updated version for the Honda Wave Dash FI earlier this evening. The bike was introduced in conjunction with Boon Siew Honda’s first ever product launch and fashion show located at e@Curve, Damansara. Their latest addition to their current line-up is more trendy and fashionable with a tagline “Make an Impression, Everywhere You Go.”
Looking at the exterior of the bike, the new Wave Dash FI now has a few redesigned graphics to keep up to date with today’s trend. Apart from the special colours, the updated moped now has a redesigned meter panel and exhaust muffler cover to attract the young and fashionable into the two-wheel market.
According to Boon Siew Honda’s Managing Director and CEO Mr Nobuhide Nagata, “The younger Malaysian customer is living a fast-paced lifestyle and seeking for a trendy and stylish ride. Hence, BSH has been constantly improving the design as well as performance to fulfil young rider’s desire and demand.”
With a reworked 110cc SOHC fuel-injected, air-cooled engine, the new Wave Dash FI now has two percent more power than the previous generation with an improved fuel consumption figure at 61km/L as compared to the old model at 58.7km/L. The moped is also EEV certified (Energy Efficient Vehicle) and Euro3 compliant.
There are three different options to choose from with four different colourways. The S type (single disc brake) and R type (dual disc brakes) are available in Pearl Nightfall Blue, Pearl Magellanic Black and Vivacity Red. The S type is priced at RM5,860.74 and R type at RM6,178.74 (basic prices with GST). There’s also a Repsol Edition available at RM6,337.74 that comes with double disc brakes as well.
