Mforce Bike Holdings Sdn Bhd has announced that the 2018 Benelli Leoncino 500 will arrive this February at all authorised Benelli showrooms across the country. Ever since the bike was launched back in October last year, it has received over 1,000 booking for the Leoncino 500. Production has begun early January and will continue to do so to meet the high demand.

With a concept that brings together the retro classic styling into the world of modern motorcycles, the Leoncino 500 embodies the true spirit of Benelli into one exciting package. The manufacturer’s rich history in the motorcycling business is all embedded in the latest Leoncino 500.

Powered by a 500cc twin-cylinder engine, the Benelli Leoncino 500 is said to produce around 47hp at 8,500rpm and 45Nm of maximum torque. All its torque and power is driven to its rear 17-inch wheel via a six-speed gearbox.

Other features include a 45mm upside-down front fork, dual 320mm front disc brakes with four-piston calipers, a single 260mm rear disc with single-piston caliper, and hydraulic clutch just to name a few. Every single detail is wrapped around a versatile steel trellis frame.

Priced at RM27,999 (basic price without GST), the Leoncino 500 is just one of the offerings introduced by Benelli Malaysia late last year. What’s even more exciting is the fact that they’ll be launching two new 2018 models in the nearest future which are the 2018 Benelli 402S mini-cruiser and 752S naked street fighter.
