Honda CB350 H’Ness Lands In Japan, Rename As GB350

Japan has become the first country outside of India to get the CB350 H’Ness with the retro design motorcycle rename GB350.

Apart from the name change, the GB350 does comes with some styling changes however, it is still the same CB350 H’Ness that was firstly introduced in India.

The GB350 comes with a full LED setup, a combination of analogue/digital instrument and the latest Honda Selectable Torque Control (HSTC).

The motorcycle is packed with the same single-cylinder 348cc air-cooled engine that is capable to produce a solid 20.7hp @ 5,500rpm and 30Nm @ 3,000rpm while matted to a 5-speed gearbox.

The bike also gets a standard telescopic fork at the front and twin (preload adjustable) shock absorbers at the rear.

However, the GB350 received dual-channel ABS for the Japanese market and priced at JPY550,000 (RM20,600).

MotoGP: Valentino Rossi Questions Brad Binder Level Of Respect

“You have a lot of riders who are more clean and ride with a lot of respect for the opponents.

“You have some other riders like Binder, who ride a lot harder and don’t care about the rival,” said the multiple MotoGP world champion, Valentino Rossi, following a clash with Brad Binder during the season opener last weekend.

Binder slightly hit the Petronas Sepang Racing Team (SRT) rider in Qatar at Turn 1.

The 42-year-old rider then shares his opinion regarding the respect that current MotoGP riders have for their rivals this past few years.

“For me, it doesn’t depend very much on the position, but it depends very much on the different riders.

“Maybe, in this case, the word respect is too big, but it’s difficult to understand the limit because usually in the past sometimes you touch another rider, but you didn’t try to touch.

The BMW CE 04 Electric Scooter To Enter Production, Launching Soon?

The all-electric BMW CE 04 scooter is inching closer to production after BMW Motorrad has recently filed the design with the European Union Intellectual Property Office.

The scooter was seen in a concept from November last year and has since garnered a lot of attention due to its futuristic design.

While other manufacturers tend to divert the design concept to something that is considered more realistic, BMW Motorrad seems to move ahead with the design’s reasonably close to the original concept.

The apparent changes are the addition of side mirrors and a rear fender to place the number plates and the rear LED light.

According to reports, the CE 04 will come packing with the same 10.25″ TFT screen found on the latest R 1250 RT.

Nonetheless, the design filings did not disclose the details regarding the electric motor powering the CE 04 or when the new model will become available.

BMW R 1250 RT Arrived In Malaysia – RM142,500!

BMW Motorrad Malaysia has launched the new 2021 BMW R 1250 RT with a host of different upgrades and enhancements in terms of safety, comfort, and rideability.

Starting with firepower, the 2021 BMW R 1250 RT carries the 1,254cc boxer-twin engine with BMW’s ShiftCam technology that produces 136hp.

Now Euro5-compliant, the RT is smoother and refined than ever before which is perfect for long-distance riding no matter what speed you’re travelling at. That is also paired with an improved fuel economy, which is also great for your wallet in the long run.

Yamaha Planning New Range Of YZF Motorcycle

Earlier in March 2021, it was revealed that Yamaha is planning to introduce an all-new YZF-R7, based on the MT-07 CP2 twin-cylinder 689cc engine.

However, the news also triggered the possibility of an R9 using the MT-09 CP3 triple-cylinder 890cc powerplant.

Now, let us get to the best part. Recent reports (by the good people from Motorcycle.com) revealed that Yamaha had filed a new trademark application in Japan involving a full range of YZF models, ranging from the R15, R20, R25, R2, R4, R5, R8, and R9 with the R7 already on its way.

Let us remind you that these trademark applications do not necessarily mean that the name will put into place; instead, it is sometimes a strategy to avoid other company from using them in the future.

Nonetheless, there is still a high possibility that Yamaha is planning to introduce some of these models especially involving a small-displacements model.

Theoretically, the engine for the R9 is ready, and the R7 has been certified, which put these two as the most logical model to be introduced, but we think Yamaha might follow the footsteps of their Japanese rival, Honda, by introducing a 500cc version of the YZF to go against the CBR500R.
