Hong Leong Yamaha Motor (HLYM) has introduced the updated 2018 Yamaha YZF-R25.
The latest updates include new graphics and colour options which are Blue and Black.

Hong Leong Yamaha Motor (HLYM) has officially introduced the updated Yamaha YZF-R25 for the year 2018. The latest model comes with two new updated colours; Blue and Black. Considered to be one of the most popular 250cc bike in Malaysia, other aspects of the bike remain the same including the price tag.
Infused with Yamaha’s DNA for motorsports and racing, the R25 comes ready with a 249cc parallel-twin engine that produces a cool 35.5hp at a screaming 12,000rpm and 22.6Nm of maximum torque at 10,000rpm. Pushing a wet weight of only 166kg (fully loaded with 14.3 litres of fuel), the R25 presents quite an astounding performance throughout the rev range.
Built around a steel diamond-type frame, all its weight is evenly distributed making it very balanced and planted to the road. The R25’s handling is optimised further with its 17-inch wheels together with a 41mm front telescopic fork and rear monocross suspension unit.
The new colours represent a more race-ready design reflecting its bigger siblings particularly the Yamaha YZF-R6. Having these colour options including Black will make the R25 even more exciting than ever before. HLYM has priced the 2018 Yamaha YZF-R25 at RM20,630.78 (basic price with GST).
