The world has been waiting for the arrival of the 2020 Kawasaki Ninja ZX-25R at their respective showrooms but Indonesia is one step ahead as they’ve announced the official launch date which is on July 10th, 2020.
A short yet exciting clip was posted on the official Kawasaki Indonesia YouTube page showing the standard 2020 Kawasaki Ninja ZX-25R and a race version having a good time around the Sentul International Circuit. They’ve also posted that the launch will be done online via the channel at 3 pm local time.
There will a lot of exciting details waiting for us when they officially present the 250cc inline-four sports machine, including the specs. Just a few days ago, Akrapovic ‘accidentally’ posted what their latest exhaust system can do in terms of power for the latest Kawasaki bike, which states the stock horsepower to be around 42hp.
There will be a lot of race-inspired goodies available for the new ZX-25R but the one thing that everyone wants to know is the pricing. So far, only New Zealand has announced their pre-order price tag at 15,990 NZD, which is over RM44,000. We reckon that the Indonesian market will be slightly lower.
As for Malaysia, there’s still some sorting out left to do between Kawasaki Heavy Industries (Japan), Kawasaki Motors Malaysia (KMSB), and national bike manufacturer, Modenas, regarding the future of the brand here in the country. Once all the details have been ironed out, you can be sure that the ZX-25R will be the first task to complete on their to-do list.
