Malaysia has imposed the Movement Control Order until the end of the month to cope with the spreading of the deadly Coronavirus or COVID-19 outbreaks. The Royal Malaysia Police (PDRM) has been working hard and non-stop to assist in the matter, from advising people to steer clear of any public gatherings to organizing roadblocks to monitor people travelling interstates.
While some folks feel like this is a burden (these are the same people who don’t seem to understand the severity of the current situation we’re all facing at the moment), we often forget those who are working the frontlines of this pandemic (or any other national security threats, for that matter). Not our King, though.

His Majesty Seri Paduka Baginda The Yang di-Pertuan Agong, Al-Sultan Abdullah Ri’ayatuddin Al-Mustaffa Billah Shah, was seen paying visits to several police roadblocks placed in Kuala Lumpur. Monitoring the situation first-hand, our beloved King personally thanked the authorities for their hard work and even advised some motorists to adhere to the current Movement Control Order.

This is not the first time we’ve witnessed the King being the ‘man of the people’. From helping accidents victims to providing media members with food and water during the new government reformation, our Yang di-Pertuan Agong continues to show his love and support for both his people and country, especially during these times of need. Daulat Tuanku!
