Aprilia together with the Italian Motorcycle Federation (FMI) have launched the Aprilia RS 660 Trophy 2021 following a major success of the Aprilia Sport Production Championship. This one-make series is open for 15-year-old riders and older competing on race-spec RS660 Trofeo version.
In other words, teens as young as 15 years old who are looking to develop their motorsports talent will be given the opportunity to race on the latest middleweight sports bike that weighs roughly around 168kg (stock dry weight) with 100hp on tap.
The Aprilia School of Champions will be handling this one-make race throughout the great country of Italy where registrations will be opened sometime in early 2021. The RS 660 Trofeo edition comes with race fairings, full-system SC-Project exhaust, race-spec foot pegs, and many more goodies.
We’re guessing that more talented young Italian riders will be born through this program and one-make race series. As for the arrival of the RS 660 here in Malaysia, we’ve been assured that it’ll arrive, but not sure when. Our best guess would be within the first quarter of 2021.

- Inertial Measurement Unit (IMU)
