It has been a while since we last heard anything related to the Ducati Multistrada V4. The last time the V4-powered dual-sport bike was spotted testing was before the chaos of COVID-19 and with situations clearing out everywhere, the Italian manufacturer has resumed the testing stages for their latest V4 motorcycle.
The latest set of spy shots posted by Visordown showcased a much clearer image of the upcoming Ducati Multistrada V4. The same test rider was spotted riding a slightly cleaner-looking machine sans all the camouflage decals and duct tape covering some parts of the bike.
What we can confirm from the photo is that the new Multistrada V4 is running a double-sided swingarm with gaping holes on the sides (this was previously covered with duct tape back in March during road testing). `This is probably going to be the range-topping Enduro model with hopes that the single-sided swingarm will still be available for other variants (like the Multistrada 1260).
There are also talks on major electronic updates for all Ducati models beyond 2020, including the possibility of adding radar technology. The tiny black box positioned between the front headlights might be the indicator of the brand’s latest riding safety systems. It might not look like the prettiest thing right now, but we’re sure the designer team will find a way to make it ‘sexy’.
