Akrapovic is on a roll at the end of 2020 with the release of its new Racing Line (Carbon) exhaust system for the latest 2021 Aprilia RS 660. This full-system exhaust offers optimised power and torque delivery plus a wicked soundtrack while meeting with Euro5 regulations.
This EC/ECE type-approved Akrapovic exhaust made with a combination of carbon fibre muffler, end cap, and heat shield, plus lightweight titanium outer sleeve and high-grade stainless steel help to cut down the overall weight by 0.4kg and kicks up the figures by an extra 2.4hp and 3.6Nm torque.
In other words, the 2021 Aprilia RS 660 with this exhaust kit gets an improved throttle response as well as a deep sporty sound that also slightly enhances the bike’s power-to-weight ratio. This unit is also admirable for its ‘plug and play’ simplicity without any additional mapping needed.
If that’s not enough to float your boat, you can also opt for the Racing Line (Carbon) S-A6R1-APLC unit (pic above) that’s not EC/ECE compliant but what you’ll get is a full-system exhaust that cuts down the weight by 2.4kg and ups to figures by 4hp at 11,200rpm and 4.9Nm torque at 4,500rpm. In other words, it’s an all-out race exhaust, baby. Braap, braap, mothertruckers.
