CFMoto might have revealed the official photo of its 2021 CFMoto MT800 adventure-tourer after months of teasing and spyshots all over the internet. The one that you’re looking at here is the more ‘off-road’ oriented variant with spoke wheels and slightly knobby tyres to tackle minor off-road situations.
As we have reported before, the 2021 CFMoto MT800 will most likely come in two different variants. The other one looks like a more road-going version that’s fitted with cast wheels and sport-touring rubbers. Those gold spoke rims sure look amazing from our perspective.
Their partnership with Austria’s KTM will also see the use of the KTM 790 Adventure’s 799cc LC8 engine used in this upcoming model. Power output might slightly differ from KTM’s 95hp output, but we will only know for sure once the MT800 is officially launched.
We know for a fact the CFMoto Malaysia is keen to bring this model in as soon as its globally launched. However, restrictions placed around the globe due to COVID-19 (including Malaysia’s Movement Control Order) might cause a few delays.
There’s no indicator of the price range either, but knowing how competitive CFMoto can be, we won’t be surprised if this baby falls within the ‘I think I can afford that’ category. Stay tuned for more updates, folks.
