MotoGP Virtual Race happening this Sunday

The entire MotoGP circus is currently put on hold due to all the restrictions placed to combat the Coronavirus or COVID-19 pandemic. The organisers have been looking into other ways to bring some motorsports action for the fans and this Sunday (29 March 2020), the premier class riders will be facing off in their very first MotoGP Virtual Race!

All of the top MotoGP athletes have been invited to partake in this online Virtual Race from Maverick Vinales (Monster Energy Yamaha MotoGP), Fabio Quartararo (Petronas Yamaha SRT), Alex Rins (Team Suzuki Ecstar), and the reigning world champion, Marc Marquez (Repsol Honda).

The riders will be going wheel to wheel on the official MotoGP videogame developed by Milestone. It’s the same game that the MotoGP eSport Championship will take place in 2020 so it’s definitely a good platform to keep these elite riders on their toes, especially track configuration and possible strategies for their upcoming physical races.

This Sunday, the riders will be facing off at the Autodromo del Mugello circuit with six laps planned after a five-minute qualifying session. Want to catch it live? Subscribe yourselves for free now (VideoPass Trial) on the MotoGP official website as the whole event will be live-streamed this Sunday at 3 pm GMT (11 pm Malaysian time) onwards on various social media platforms.

It’s a very good idea to get the VideoPass trial now as you watch all the premium MotoGP content such as documentaries, interviews, and all the classic races dating back to 1992. If you’re itching for some two-wheel racing or simply would like to know more about your favourite riders, the free VideoPass trial is the way to go. It’s free until the first race of the season!
