Recognised as the top-performing street tyre from Pirelli’s extensive range of quality rubbers, the third-gen Pirelli Diablo Supercorsa SP is highly recognized as one of the ‘good stuff’ by elite superbike riders around the globe.
This appointment showcases Honda’s trust in Pirelli’s ability to perform brilliantly with the Honda CBR1000RR-R Fireblade and this would also mean that the latest Honda superbike will have some sort of advantage going into the upcoming WorldSBK season, which is also sponsored by Pirelli.
As for the street-legal Pirelli Diablo Supercorsa SP, riders can be confident that it’ll deliver promising performance not only in the track but also on open roads. With a bi-compound rear unit updated with Pirelli’s Enhanced Patch Technology (EPT), the new Supercorsa SP offers greater mileage and better grip at full lean.
This is all thanks to the manufacturing process of including 23% more soft compound in the tyre’s shoulders with 33% side pattern extensions that guarantee tasty grip when dragging your knees (or elbows if you’re like Marc Marquez). The new polymers in the tyre construction also offer faster warm-up and improved grip in all riding conditions.
