Triumph has introduced a special ‘Black’ edition version of its Street Triple Rx model in the UK.
As the name suggests, the Triumph Street Triple Rx Black features a special black paint scheme accompanied with revised graphics. Underneath, the Street Triple Rx Black remains unchanged from the standard Street Triple R model by retaining its signature 675cc triple-cylinder heart that offers 105hp and 67.7Nm.
The Black edition accompanies the regular Street Triple Rx model, with both the regular Rx and Rx Black sitting at the top of the Street Triple model range. The Rx variants differ from the regular Street Triple R as it has additional exterior bits such as a seat cowl, bellypan and fly screen. Also standard-equipped on the Rx model is a tail-section lifted from the Triumph Daytona 675 supersport model.
Presently, Triumph has announced the availability of the new Triumph Street Triple Rx Black in its UK dealerships only starting this month, priced from £8,599. Triumph hasn’t confirmed the bike’s availability outside the UK just yet, but we reckon it would likely offer it in the overseas markets as well.
