2018 MV Agusta Brutale 800 RC unveiled

The latest addition into the RC family was unveiled as the 2018 MV Agusta Brutale 800 RC.

Unveiled at EICMA 2017, the limited edition Brutale is now Euro4-compliant thanks to a reworked engine that produces 150hp and 87Nm of torque.

Only 350 units will be available and each one will come with a Reparto Corse Kit which allows the owner to bump up the power to 150hp thanks to a couple of racing parts.

Together with the introduction of the 2018 MV Agusta Dragster 800 RR, Brutale 800 RR Pirelli edition and a few more rarities displayed during the recent EICMA motorcycle expo in Milan, the premium bike manufacturer unveiled their super limited 2018 MV Agusta Brutale RC.

The latest addition into the RC series has received the WorldSBK treatment where basically has been turned into a replica of the factory bikes used in the World Superbikes racing series. If you thought the Brutale was beautiful before, it’s more so now in these colours.

The new Brutale 800 RC also comes with the number 37 which most of us would think it’s related to their star rider in WorldSBK, Leon Camier. It is actually referring to the number of constructor’s championships obtained since the start of their rich and prosperous racing efforts.

Apart from the facade changes, the internals of its 798cc inline-three engine were also updated to meet with the Euro4 emissions regulations. Parts such as the cylinder head, chain tensioner, camshafts, valves and a few more have been upgraded which in turn produces a respectable 140hp 87Nm of maximum torque.

Feeling unique? With the Brutale 800 RC, you can! MV Agusta announced that they will only produce 350 units and each baby will come with a Reparto Corse Kit. This option will let you take your Brutale 800 RC up a few notches with the SC Project full system exhaust and racing ECU to bump up the power to a staggering 150hp.

Other parts in the kit include levers from Ergal, paddock stand, bike cover and of course, certificate of authenticity to prove that you have the real thing. Both certificate and bike will be numbered with a unique number.
