We’re just a day away from the launch of the all-new Ducati V4 engine and its first bike that it’ll be fitted on, the 2021 Ducati Multistrada V4. We’ve also stumbled upon the official name that’ll be given to this new endure V4 beast, the Ducati V4 Granturismo.
Designed to travel the distance, it’s considered as one of the evolutions from the Ducati V4 Desmosedici Stradale engine found on the Panigale V4 models. Its latest theorem which states “The world is not enough – The earth’s circumference is 40,075 km across. Try 60,000 km.” showcases its durability, which is a valve service interval or ‘Desmo Service’ of every 60,000km.
We also know that it’ll produce 170hp and more details will be released later with one final theorem left to be released. As for the official introduction, that’ll happen on 15 October 2020 and we will definitely know more details about how Ducati will master off-road riding using a V4 engine.
That’ll be plenty to talk about regarding the capabilities of both the Ducati V4 Granturismo engine as well as the 2021 Ducati Multistrada V4. Production has already started and we should expect the Italian giant to debut this new Multistrada sometime next month. Stay tuned for more updates.
