American exotic bikes maker Confederate Motorcycles unveiled its latest creation last weekend, the C2 P-51 Fighter.
The P-51’s launch suggests that the exotic bikes brand hasn’t been sitting idle since its last creation, the X132 Hellcat unveiled two years ago. Renowned South African designer Pierre Terblanche who was drafted into the firm earlier this year penned the P-51’s design.
Confederate’s second-generation model for its Fighter line, the P-51 sports several improvements over its predecessor’s architecture and design. Most notably is the 40ibs (18kg) weight reduction as a result of its V-twin engine’s new billet aluminium crankcase. The mill is also primed with a new downdraft injection system, which the firm promise will result in more power, as well as improved ergonomics.
Details beyond that are scarce, but Confederate confirmed that it plans on producing just 31 examples. The P-51 will be made available starting middle of next year, predicted to carry a price tag surpassing the US$100,000 mark, just like all of its other creations.
The firm also released a video to launch the bike that you can check out below.
