Finally, the 2020 Ducati Streetfighter V4 has landed here in Malaysia. Two months ago, we witnessed the unveiling of the new Ducati Panigale V4 and Panigale V2 for the local market and we seriously thought that the Streetfighter would make its appearance then. Thinking ahead, Ducati Malaysia probably doesn’t want the Streetfighter to take any limelight away from the Panigale. Good thinking.
Now, photos of the Ducati Streetfighter V4 can be seen being prepped for its official Malaysian launch at the Ducati Petaling Jaya showroom. With that being said, bookings are now opened alongside its estimated price for both the standard model as well as the V4 S.
For the standard model, it is estimated to be around the RM120,000 mark whereas the V4 S model comes in at around RM150,000. To put it into comparison, the Streetfighter is around RM12,000-RM22,000 cheaper than its full—fairing brothers, the Panigale V4 and V4 S.
As for firepower, it comes with the re-tuned 1,103cc Desmosedici Stradale V4 engine that produces 208hp and 123Nm of torque. Those figures can be bumped up to an even more exciting 220hp and 130Nm if you opt for the full-racing Ducati Performance exhaust by Akrapovič. Plus, it also cuts down the overall weight by 6kg (180kg dry weight with the standard fixings).
To know more about the #FightFormula, you may contact any of the authorised Ducati dealers nationwide. More details to follow once the Streetfighter V4 is officially launched by Ducati Malaysia.
