Michael Dunlop has confirmed his participation in the Isle of Man TT and other Supersport road races with the Honda CBR600RR.
The news was confirmed by PTR Honda on their Twitter page.
Michael Dunlop and PTR Honda won the Isle of Man TT Supersport category back in 2013.
After his recent appearance in the 2018 MotoGP pre-season winter test in Sepang just a few weeks ago, coveted road racing racer Michael Dunlop has confirmed his entry in the 2018 Isle of Man TT Supersport category and other road races with the PTR Honda squad.
The 15-time Isle of Man TT winner hailing from Northern Ireland who has finalised the deal with PTR Honda will pilot their full race-spec Honda CBR6000R for the entire season. It was a no-brainer for the 28 year old racer as he set the Isle of Man TT Supersport record (and won the race) back in 2013.

This latest news which was posted on PTR Honda’s Twitter page has confirmed his entry in all of road races in the intermediate category. As for the premier class, there is still no news on whether Michael Dunlop will continue his reign together with Suzuki after winning last year’s Senior TT category in style.
While nothing is set in stone just yet, we’re guessing that Michael Dunlop will most likely stay with Suzuki and their full-factory support (plus their amazing Suzuki GSX-R1000R). Stay tuned to Bikes Republic for more updates.
