New Shell Advance engine oils launched – ‘Long Ride’ & ‘Power’

Shell Advance has launched two new engine oils to cater to different riders and riding situations. Their new benefit-focused Shell Advance Power and Shell Advance Long Ride lubricants ensure bike owners get what they want using the right lubricant for the intended riding purpose.

Specially designed for motorcycles, these babies are also two of the most affordable premium fully synthetic engine oil currently available in the Malaysian market for four-stroke machines. The Shell Advance Power comes in at RM55 per one-litre pack while the Long Ride option is priced at RM50 per one-litre bottle.

According to Nyon Kam Yew, Shell Lubricants General Manager for Malaysia and Singapore, “At Shell, we have always been at the forefront of lubricant technology innovation. With the new Shell Advance Power and Shell Advance Long Ride, we want bike owners to be empowered to choose the right lubricant by simplifying the two options based on their needs.”

The Power 15W-50 lubricant offers a more enjoyable power delivery and acceleration with the ability to maximise the bike’s overall performance and power output. The Long Ride 10W-40 on the other hand is more robust and is able to withstand long-distance travels with added development on maximum heat endurance.

Both of these new products are formulated using Shell’s proprietary PurePlus Technology, a 99.5% pure base oil made from natural gas. This unique technology offers a better cold start and high-temperature performance while ensuring that your internal engine parts are nice and clean.
