Following Azlan Shah Kamaruzaman’s maiden championship win in the 2019 Asia Road Racing Championship (ARRC) in the ASB1000 category, the ONEXOX TKKR SAG Team is proud to announce that their results will be greatly rewarded as BMW Motorrad will be lending some factory support for the Malaysian squad in the upcoming 2020 season.
Azlan Shah who rode the previous-generation BMW S 1000 RR prepared by the ONEXOX TKKR SAG Team emerged victorious amongst other top Asian teams where some of them have been getting full factory support from the get-go. For a private team with limited funds and a world-class rider with vast experience in motorsports racing, we can safely say that their 2019 season was nothing short of exceptional.
Thanks to their amazing results and championship win, the team will be getting some much-needed assistance from BMW Motorrad in the form of four brand-new BMW S 1000 RR, parts sponsorship worth €25,000 (around RM115,000), and some payments for their crew members to be actively involved in all of the races next season.
In short, all good deeds will go unnoticed. The same goes for those who strive for success even when the world is against them. To Azlan Shah, congratulations on being the first Asian Superbike Champion in ARRC and another congratulation for being recognized by BMW Motorrad. All the best to you and the ONEXOX TKKR SAG Team for the 2020 ARRC season. #MalaysiaBoleh!
