MV Agusta will reportedly unleash a volley of six new models this year in both sport and naked forms.
A credible source is reporting that Italian motorcycle artisans MV Agusta have major plans for 2016. The report indicates that the Varese-based brand will unleash a total of six new models this year comprised of three new naked bikes plus three new sport-bodied bikes as well.
We are certain of one of the three new naked bikes already, which is non other than the updated 2016 MV Agusta Brutale 675 that is slated to debut in the second quarter of this year. The report indicates that the new Dragster 800 and Brutale 800 RR models will be released soon after the refreshed Brutale 675 triple.
Ascertaining this is the fact that all three will be powered by MV Agusta’s updated Euro 4-compliant 798cc triple-cylinder mill, which will debut in the revised Brutale 675 later this year.
Adding to this, another credible source reports that the first of the three new sport-bodied models is none other than the MV Agusta F3 Solar Beam concept that was revealed last year.
The concept sees the MV Agusta F3 supersport donning a special ‘Solar Beam’ yellow paint scheme that comes from the brand’s key shareholder, the Mercedes-AMG performance division. The production-bound iteration of the concept will reportedly stand as a special and limited edition offering.
Given that MV Agusta have updated both its 800cc and 675cc versions of the Brutale with Euro 4 compliance, it is believed that updated versions of the model’s full-faired F3 675 and F3 800 counterparts stand as the remaining two.
MV Agusta haven’t confirmed anything else beyond the updated Brutale 675 at this point, so only time will tell. And, without any doubts, this is one brand to keep an eye out this year.
