The Yamaha EGO Gear will now be available in three stunning colors: Yellow, Blue, and Green. Whether riders are seeking a vibrant and energetic look or a cool and sophisticated vibe, these new color options provide ample choices.

Powering the Ego Gear is a a 125cc BluCore engine with Smart Motor Generator that’s capable of producing 9.3hp @ 8,000 rpm and 9.6 Nm @ 5,500 rpm. It also comes with a USB charging socket and an anti-slip footpad.

Starting from 4 July 2023, the Yamaha EGO Gear in its new color selection can be purchased at any authorized Yamaha dealer across the nation.

As usual with each purchase of the new Ego Gear, customers will receive a Yamaha safety disc lock worth RM 100. This additional benefit emphasizes Yamaha’s commitment to rider safety and security.

Suzuki Motor Corporation is set to celebrate the 25th anniversary of its flagship motorcycle, the Hayabusa, with a special edition model.

In a bid to commemorate this remarkable milestone, Suzuki has announced the global release of the exclusive Hayabusa anniversary variant, starting from July 2023.

The highlight of this limited edition Hayabusa is its striking new paint scheme, featuring a captivating combination of orange and black hues. The design is further accentuated by special colours adorning the drive chain adjuster and front brake disk inner.

Enthusiasts will also appreciate the original engravings on the muffler body and drive chain, as well as the 25th-anniversary emblem and a 3D ‘Suzuki’ logo displayed prominently on the fuel tank. Additionally, the motorcycle will come equipped with a single-seat cowl as standard, although this feature will not be available in the Japanese market.

While retaining the distinctive styling cues from the latest generation Hayabusa, including a single-pod headlight with twin DRLs, a full fairing, a twin-sided exhaust, and a split-style saddle, this special edition pays homage to the iconic lineage of the Hayabusa. The specifications and hardware remain consistent with the standard model, ensuring an exceptional riding experience for enthusiasts worldwide.

The Hayabusa has gained a loyal following since its introduction, with sales spanning across 48 countries, including the United States, Europe, India, and Latin America. 

Boasting a cumulative series production of over 200,000 units, the Hayabusa has become an embodiment of Suzuki’s commitment to excellence and innovation. As a result, the highly anticipated 25th-anniversary model will be made available in various markets, although the specific launch details for India are yet to be disclosed.

Denali’s have made the brand a mainstay in the adventure world thanks to their high-power fog lamps, auxiliary lights, and horns that are known for their ability to illuminate the road and trail while alerting other road users. 

Now, the Ducati DesertX, already hailed as one of the most off-road capable bikes in Ducati’s lineup, has received a comprehensive lighting system from Denali, further enhancing its impressive capabilities.

The centerpiece of the lighting system is Denali’s DialDim controller, a feature-rich accessory that allows for customizable settings. With an intuitive multi-color halo dial, riders can control two independent light circuits, including the high beam, horn, and turn signals. Denali’s DialDim system has garnered praise in the past, and the accompanying video showcases its impressive capabilities.

In addition to the DialDim system, Denali has introduced the T3 turn signal upgrade kits for the DesertX. These powerful lights replace the stock turn signals, featuring bright white running lights that switch to amber when the turn signals are activated. The rear pods serve multiple functions, acting as brake lights, rear fog lights, and rear turn signals.

For riders who desire even more lighting options, Denali has launched a driving light mount compatible with the DesertX’s OEM crashbar. This mount allows users to install any Denali auxiliary light on the crashbar while maintaining the bike’s clean, original look. Additionally, a lower mount is available for the smaller Denali DM, D2, S4, and D3 lights, positioning them at the same level as the front wheel for maximum visibility.

To complete the lighting upgrades, Denali offers the B6 brake light, providing a significantly brighter brake light with a remarkable 900 lumens, ensuring greater visibility and safety. Lastly, Denali presents a powder-coated steel horn mount designed specifically for the Denali SoundBomb Original air horn, renowned for its impressive volume and alerting capabilities.

Yamaha is set to celebrate the 25th anniversary of its iconic sports bike, the Yamaha R1, with a special event at Mugello.

  • The Yamaha Racing Experience, taking place on 21-22 July, will pay tribute to the R1’s rich legacy.
  • Mugello Circuit in Italy, renowned for hosting the MotoGP Italian Grand Prix, will serve as the backdrop for this momentous occasion.

Yamaha has enjoyed significant success at Mugello in the past, with riders like Valentino Rossi, Jorge Lorenzo, and Fabio Quartararo achieving triumphs on Yamaha bikes.

The circuit also holds sentimental value for Niccolo Canepa, who often participates in Mugello track days to prepare for his Endurance World Championship races.

Paolo Pavesio, Marketing and Motorsport Director of Yamaha Motor Europe, expressed pride in honoring the R1’s 25th anniversary. He described the R1 as a game-changer that has consistently pushed the boundaries of performance and innovation, incorporating cutting-edge technology and MotoGP-derived advancements.

Notably, the R1 pioneered the use of a vertically-stacked gearbox in production motorcycles, leading to improved engine design and enhanced performance.

In subsequent years, Yamaha further differentiated the R1 by introducing a cross-plane crankshaft, contributing to its distinct sound and engineering excellence. The 2015 model update embraced the aesthetic cues of the Yamaha YZR-M1 MotoGP bike, coinciding with Jorge Lorenzo’s championship-winning season. The R1M variant also brought MotoGP-inspired electronics to track enthusiasts.

While the R1 has not undergone significant updates in recent years, motorcycle enthusiasts eagerly await news of its next evolution. The

Ducati has introduced an exciting new Sport package for the Streetfighter V4.

  • This package aims to enhance the performance and aesthetics of the already impressive Streetfighter V4 range.

The Sport package, available for all three models of the Streetfighter V4, promises a reduction in weight and minor performance enhancements. Among the notable components included in the package are refined billet aluminum tank caps, brake, and clutch levers, as well as handlebar counterweights.

These additions not only add a touch of sophistication but also contribute to an improved riding experience.

Performance enthusiasts will also appreciate the option of upgrading the exhaust system with Akrapovic, a renowned manufacturer of high-performance exhaust systems. 

The Akrapovic exhaust offers two options: a titanium body with carbon end caps that replaces the stock silencers, resulting in a weight reduction of 0.8kg, or a full-titanium system that provides a 6% increase in mid-range power and torque while shedding 5.5kg off the bike’s weight. The full exhaust swap includes a race-derived polyester air filter and an engine map tailored to the increased performance.

For those seeking to further customize their Streetfighter V4, Ducati offers a range of carbon components, including front and rear mudguards, an instrument cover, a tank cover, a pinion cover, wings, and a number plate holder. These carbon additions not only add a sporty aesthetic but also contribute to weight reduction.

With the introduction of the Sport package, Ducati continues to push the boundaries of performance and style, offering riders an enhanced and personalized experience on their Streetfighter V4 motorcycles.

Edaran Modenas Sdn Bhd (EMOS) has introduced a 2-year unlimited mileage warranty for all Kawasaki and Modenas rebranded motorcycles ranging from 250cc to 1000cc.

  • The new warranty programme will take effect for every models registered from 1 July 2023 onwards. 
  • The revised warranty programme replaces the 2-years or 20,000km warranty offered previously. 

Interestingly, Kawasaki 24/7 roadside assist is  also included in the new warranty programme thus assuring customers a hassle free experience during a breakdown. Also, the manufacturer warranty will continue even if they bike is sold or transferred to a new customer.
