TVS Reach New Milestone, Exported 100,000 Units Of Motorcycle In March 2021

While the world is slowly starting to show recovery from the Covid-19 pandemic, TVS Motor Company has already hit the ground running as the India motorcycle company just reached a new milestone.

For March 2021 alone, TVS exported an impressive 100,000 units of their motorcycle.

Apart from the spectacular figure, it also proves a significant rise in personal mobility, with two-wheelers becoming the most affordable and practical choice for commuting.

Moreover, TVS has product offerings for all sorts of motorcyclists, and it all comes at a very affordable price. The quality of TVS is undeniably good as the famous BMW G 310 R, and G 310 GS are also co-developed by TVS Motor Company.

TVS exports its motorcycle to over 60 countries, including Malaysia, and in some part of the world, offering services for the BMW G 310 range.

The BMW CE 04 Electric Scooter To Enter Production, Launching Soon?

The all-electric BMW CE 04 scooter is inching closer to production after BMW Motorrad has recently filed the design with the European Union Intellectual Property Office.

The scooter was seen in a concept from November last year and has since garnered a lot of attention due to its futuristic design.

While other manufacturers tend to divert the design concept to something that is considered more realistic, BMW Motorrad seems to move ahead with the design’s reasonably close to the original concept.

The apparent changes are the addition of side mirrors and a rear fender to place the number plates and the rear LED light.

According to reports, the CE 04 will come packing with the same 10.25″ TFT screen found on the latest R 1250 RT.

Nonetheless, the design filings did not disclose the details regarding the electric motor powering the CE 04 or when the new model will become available.

Yamaha Planning New Range Of YZF Motorcycle

Earlier in March 2021, it was revealed that Yamaha is planning to introduce an all-new YZF-R7, based on the MT-07 CP2 twin-cylinder 689cc engine.

However, the news also triggered the possibility of an R9 using the MT-09 CP3 triple-cylinder 890cc powerplant.

Now, let us get to the best part. Recent reports (by the good people from Motorcycle.com) revealed that Yamaha had filed a new trademark application in Japan involving a full range of YZF models, ranging from the R15, R20, R25, R2, R4, R5, R8, and R9 with the R7 already on its way.

Let us remind you that these trademark applications do not necessarily mean that the name will put into place; instead, it is sometimes a strategy to avoid other company from using them in the future.

Nonetheless, there is still a high possibility that Yamaha is planning to introduce some of these models especially involving a small-displacements model.

Theoretically, the engine for the R9 is ready, and the R7 has been certified, which put these two as the most logical model to be introduced, but we think Yamaha might follow the footsteps of their Japanese rival, Honda, by introducing a 500cc version of the YZF to go against the CBR500R.

Honda Forza 750 Wins 2021 Red Dot Design Award

Honda is no stranger to the Red Dot Design Award, having won the company first award in March last year with the CBR1000RR-R SP Fireblade.

The bike later inducted into the Red Dot contemporary design museum in Essen, Germany.

Fast forward to 2021; Honda came out on top again, this time with the all-new Forza 750.
